equality & diversity: our equality & diversity policy

Incommunities has an Equality and Diversity Policy Statement endorsed at Board level. This strategy statement underlines the actions the organisation will take in all areas of activity.

The purpose of focussing on equality and diversity is to ensure that services address the different needs that customers have. Customers’ needs differ for a variety of reasons: these could include age, ethnic background, their ability to access services or their ability to participate in the life of their community.

Incommunities Corporate Vision is that as an organisation all of our Boards, Executive Team, Directors, Managers and all other staff will embrace equality and diversity in all their activities.

The Group will mainstream equality and diversity in everything we do and will be vigilant in our continual review and assessment of performance. We will not allow illegal discrimination to affect the level of performance we provide, and will work towards becoming a leader in equality and diversity.
