Search is on to find the blooming best
 
It’s that time of year again for Bradford district’s housing tenants to show off their creative talents and be a part of a special home and garden show.
 
Incommunities (formerly BCHT) is inviting its tenants to enter their attractive garden or communal garden, floral display, thriving vegetable patch, smart conservatory or colourful patio. They also want to hear from collectors of things like stamps, toys, coins and pottery.
 
To enter all have to do is take a photo of your garden, outside space, patio, conservatory or special collection and send it along with your name, address and telephone number to FREEPOST Incommunities. Alternatively, digital photos can be sent to home&garden@incommunities.co.uk . The closing date for entries is 1 August 2008.
 
All the photos will be displayed at the 2008 Incommunities home and garden show which takes place at The Midland Hotel, Bradford on Monday, 15 September.
 
It promises to be a fantastic event with top celebrity guests including TV gardening presenter Christine Walkden, Cash in the Attic TV antiques expert Paul Hayes and top floral designer Jonathan Moseley.
 
There will be a gardeners’ question time, an antiques and collectables master class, a flower arranging displays and great prize giveaways. The celebrity guests will then judge all the photo entries and hand out awards and prizes.
 
Everyone who sends in a photo and entry details will receive a personal invitation to the show.
 
Martin Smith, Incommunities Group Chairman said: “The annual home and garden event is a fantastic celebration of people’s creative talents and this year’s show promises to be better than ever.
 
“It’s a great opportunity for Incommunities tenants from across the district to show their pride in their gardens and homes. This year, we are also encouraging our tenants to send in pictures of their own special collections.
 
“It’s also a chance to hear from top experts and pick up some great tips on brightening up your home and garden.
 
“So don’t delay and send in your pictures and book your place for the home and garden show.”   
Home and garden entry forms are going out to every Incommunities households at the start of July.
